Fair Trade coffee guarantees that coffee farmers are paid an equitable price for their hard work. Fair Trade Certification empowers farmers and farm workers to lift themselves out of poverty by investing in their farms and communities, protecting the environment, and developing the business skills necessary to compete in the global marketplace.
Bird Friendly coffee, also called Shade Grown is raised on hills and mountain sides where the natural forest canopy is left intact. This practice not only helps protect the soil from erosion and nitrogen leeching, it provides a home and playground for songbirds and other animals necessary in the ecosystem.
Our selections of Fair Trade Certified Coffee help to promote sustainability and eco-friendly growing practices. The beans are from certified producers that embrace traditional, sustainable practices in every step of production.
